Research and Planning- How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
We were inspiration by many different films, but mainly looked at the film The Blair Witch Project, as creating something original was helped by a variety of media forms. One of many was the computer programme Adobe Elements, which allowed us to experiment with many different effects and add our own to it. We also used YouTube to watch other scenes that were created by AS students from different schools. This gave us an idea of what kind of level that we were at and what we were also also able to achieve. Other programmes such as photoshop and paint allowed us to recreate images and we used the internet to browse for images and information relating to our genre, horror; we searched for things like costume, setting and camera shots and angles.
