Using conventions from real media texts- In what way does your media product use, develop or change forms and conventions or real media products?


Our media product included severeal aspects of media products such as the conventions of a typical horror character and storyline. A young girl, alone walking in a woods. A rural area but you see that she is alone. You know from this something bad is going to happen. The location being a woods is a typical horror loaction. The costume of the protagonsists were inspired from the Blair Whitch Project. We have kept the whole stereotypical conventions of a horror and applied them in our own way but you can tell immidiatly that it is of the horror genre.
